Cork fabric

Cork fabric is an amazing product! It is produced from the bark of the cork oak tree, one of the only trees in existence that benefits from having its bark removed periodically during its 200+ year lifespan without harming the tree.

To produce cork fabric, the bark is boiled and shaved (no chemicals are used) and then adhered to fabric backing with non-toxic glues. Natural water based products are used to create the different cork fabric colours.

Cork fabric is an eco friendly, vegan & PETA approved green alternative to leather. It is also durable (upholstery grade), naturally water resistant, hypo-allergenic/anti bacterial - and each piece of cork fabric is uniquely beautiful.

This superior quality fabric has been used extensively throughout Europe and world-wide for many years now - and it has been used for a wide range of products including furniture, upholstery, umbrellas, shoes, clothing & bags.

Many high end fashion labels have also used cork fabric including Chanel, Alexander McQueen, Kate Spade, Stewart Weitzman, Christian Louboutin & Ralph Lauren.
